(WSVN) — Federal agents arrested a man who, sources said, was planning to throw an explosive device into a South Florida synagogue.According to law enforcement sources, the FBI set up a sting to thwart what they described as a terror attack at the Aventura Turnberry Jewish Center, Friday evening. Sources said agents posing as terrorists were able to stop the suspect, who, they said, may have converted to Islam.Sources told 7News they are concerned about this case because the suspect wanted to take some type of explosive device and chuck it over the wall. Friday was the next-to-last day of Passover, and the center was crowded with people observing the holiday….

WATER-FILLED barriers are being installed to guard against terror attacks at four synagogues in the eastern suburbs during the Jewish High Holy Days.The security arm of the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies said in a letter, “the threat of terrorism and racial vilification against Jewish Communities around the world is well established”.“A car containing explosives which attempts to ram (or to park outside) the installation will be stopped at the barriers,” the letter said.Woollahra Council renewed its approval for the barriers and a series of no-stopping zones outside the synagogues on Monday.In considering the measures, council staff referred to the letter submitted by the board when it last sought approval in 2010.The letter cited a car-bomb attack on a New York synagogue by a radicalised Muslim group in 2009 to support the application.“Since September 11, numerous Jewish communities have been the target of successful terrorist attacks … most recently the attacks planned against a synagogue in The Bronx,” it reads.“Correctly positioned barriers can absorb much of the force of a blast and the distance from the target will reduce the impact of the blast.”The measures will be used at the Old South Head Synagogue, Rose Bay, Emmanuel and Sephardi synagogues in Woollahra and the Chabad Synagogue at Double Bay from September 29 to October 26 this year and again in 2017 and 2018….

Islamic State has increased its attacks in Iraq and Syria to the highest level since 2014, according to a report by IHS Janes.The defence think tank says there were 891 attacks and 2,150 “non-militant” fatalities recorded in the first three months of this year.Those figures represent an increase of 16.7% and 43.9% respectively on the last quarter of 2015.Matthew Henman, Head of IHS Jane’s Terrorism and Insurgency Centre, said: “Attack and fatality numbers have jumped.“The group is resorting more and more to mass-casualty violence as it comes under heavy pressure from multiple angles.”There is further sobering news for Syria as the report concludes that Jabhat al-Nusra has successfully established itself within the militant Islamist opposition and is arguably “a more dangerous long-term threat in the country than the Islamic State”.The blunt analysis also finds Islamic State attacks in Libya are “intensifying” after “a several month slump”.Almost as many attacks were recorded in the first three months of 2016 as in the third and fourth quarters on 2015 combined….

GOOD NEWS AND BAD NEWS from Italy
As many as 84 illegal alien African Muslim invaders headed for Italy are missing and presumed dead at sea from a shipwreck while 26 Muslim illegals have been rescued by an Italian cargo ship off the coast of Libya.
EUROnews Video footage released by the Italian coastguard showed the survivors being transferred to one of its vessels, after it had responded to a satellite phone call and diverted the merchant ship to the area. The ship found a rubber boat that had taken on water and rescued the two dozen aboard. But Italian media said at least another 70 were feared dead; other estimates put the figure at 84.
The previous day, the Italian navy rescued nearly 240 Muslim invaders including some 70 children from two rubber boats off the Libyan coast. Unfortunately, some 27,000 Muslim illegals have reached Italy by boat this year.
The International Organization for Migration estimates that more than 1,200 Muslim invaders have died in 2016 trying to reach Europe by sea, more than half of them on the central Mediterranean route.

By BI: FBI and NYPD officials plan to visit the homes of everyone targeted in the next few weeks. Individuals are being contacted about the threat from Caliphate Cyber Army, which includes leaks of their names, home and email addresses.
New York An ISIS-linked hacking group has posted a hit list that includes the names of thousands of New Yorkers. The list, released by the ISIS-related group Caliphate Cyber United, reportedly includes as many as 3,600 names, some of whom are employees at the State Department and the Department of Homeland Security, but many of whom are average residents. Experts speculate that the list is being used as a scare tactic and that there’s no immediate threat.
The list includes both names and personal information, with an announcement that says, “We want them #Dead,” according to NBC New York. None of the people on the list are well known, and ABC 7 reports that they live in areas that vary in affluence, which leads law enforcement to believe it’s a random fearmongering project. NBC New York’s report includes a map that shows the highest concentration of people on the list in Brooklyn.

NBC News terror analyst Laith Alkhouri says the information was posted to a channel accessible only to certain ISIS supporters and was taken down after a short time. (Doing it this way, he says, makes it harder for law enforcement to track, since the group knows the details will become known publicly anyway.)
The FBI is notifying those named on the lists. In a statement, it said, “The FBI routinely notifies individuals and organizations of information collected during the course of an investigation that may be perceived as potentially threatening in nature.” Such lists have been released before, but they’ve typically been shorter and included information only on military personnel, government officials, and diplomatic officers.
Said an 88-year-old man named on the list to NBC New York: “It sounds like psychological warfare. Make 3,000 people in this city very upset.”
NBC News terror analyst Laith Alkhouri said it’s not clear where the pro-ISIS group got the information of the 3,000 people it targeted. Many were from Brooklyn, and some from Manhattan, Staten Island, Queens and other surrounding areas. He said the people in the group did not appear to be politically active or government-affiliated, mostly just ordinary New Yorkers.
