France: Dozens killed in likely jihad attack as truck crashes into Bastille Day crowd in Nice, driver exchanges gunfire with police
“There was no immediate claim of responsibility but according to the Twitter account of the terrorism-news portal TRACTerrorism.org, Islamic State affiliated Telegram accounts were posting images from Nice.” And this was no accident: according to the BBC, “The local prefecture has urged people in the area to remain indoors, calling the incident ‘an attack.'”
Recently the Islamic State called for more jihad attacks in France, saying: “The French must die by the thousands.”
