Faisalabad: A landlord guns down son of a Christian who refused to paint his house
A two and half years old son of a Christian gunned down by a landlord. The child namely Ayaan was shot dead on May 3, Tuesday. The battered Christian family was approached by a local charity organization The Voice, which ensured that an FIR was registered against the perpetrators.
Samsoon Masih, father of the victim, agreed to work on contract at Haji Rasheed’s house. Under this agreement Samsoon Masih was supposed to paint the house of Haji Rasheed and his son Basharat. However, after Samsoon started working and was about to finish his assigned work, he asked for the payment. Nonetheless, Haji Rasheed and Basharat refused to pay him.
After, the dispute Samsoon told Haji Rasheed and Basharat that he will not be working at their house anymore. Later on, Haji Rasheed and Basharat stormed in Samsoon Masih’ house and started indiscriminate fire . As a result of the firing, Samsoon Masih, and his father Ishaq Masih were severely injured while Samsoon’ youngest son Ayaan who was two and a half years old died on spot.
Followed by the incident, an FIR including Sections 302, 324 and 34 PPC was registered in P.S. Factory Area Faisalabad. Meanwhile, the police is waiting for the medical reports of the victims in order to proceed further in this case. The alleged murderers Haji Rasheed and Basharat have been hooked by the police.
